Dear Reptile Depot, I just wanted to thank you all for sending such healthy and interesting chameleons. We have had our veiled chameleons for about 2 weeks and they are doing just wonderful! They are great eaters and really enjoy their crickets and meal worms. My children are thrilled just watching them (as am I). The complete set ups that we bought from you were much, much less expensive and higher quality than anything I have seen as pet stores locally (even Petsmart). I tried to price compare with Petsmart and figured it would cost almost twice what I paid for your set ups. I was very leary of purchasing live animals from the Internet, but have been beyond pleased with your service~I even told an employee of Petsmart about you all! She said she was going to order a veiled chameleon from you instead of buying it from Petsmart! I thought I'd wait a little while before I sent this to make sure the chameleons were still doing well and they are! They are just PERFECT! Thank You for all your help in answering my questions~you all are absolutely wonderful! I will continue to recommend you to anyone interested in reptiles!   The Miller Family :)

You folks won over a young, vehemently enthusiastic reptile owner. Greg
P is my 11 year old nephew who lives at my home here in San Diego. He
buys a lot of things from our local store, the folks at Animal House, who
ran the reptile show. He got his bearded from PetCo earlier this year.
He met you at the LAST lizard show and you folks were all so nice,
helpful and informative he found your booth again.
At this show he wound up buying a small tank, a water dragon, cricket
food and cricket blue-jello.
I heard him talking today with a neighbor's kids whose dad has gotten
inspired by Greg's love of reptiles and admires the ones Greg has caught (he
let the latest one go after he bought your water dragon). When Greg was
talking about them going to the lizard show he told them to find the booth
for Reptile Depot.
So I wanted to let you know that you're on the right track with your
booth, produces AND the way you deal with customers -- that you treat them
all the same, regardless of age (which is wise; Greg insists he wants learn
to breed them and has read some thick books on water dragons and
beardeds...He wanted a tarantula but I drew the line at that..).

The uro mastyx was a bit sluggish and cold, but once in the tank with the lights and heat,

livened up and ate crickets !!!

The same for the bearded dragon, what clear eyes, ate voraciously!

The tarantula is very active and also ate.

I purchased 2 bearded dragons from you and arrived on wed.

I must say what a difference your dragons are from the ones I purchased at a local Pet Store.

Unfortunately they did not survive longer than a week.

I can't help but think these were not very healthy to start with.

Your dragons are much more active, much more hand friendly, sociable,

and flexible to a variety of foods not just crickets.

I received my veiled chameleon and leopard gecko yesterday.

Although usps worried me somewhat by not having them here Friday morning,

they lived up to their promise and called me that evening when the truck with them arrived.

Let me say that I was very, very impressed with the chameleon.

Much larger than I expected. Appears very fat, active and healthy. Drank shortly after setting

him up in the tank.The Leo also was very healthy and active, taking a drink when released.

I admit I didn't start with you when I went into the Sacramento show this morning

I had been hoping xxxxxxxxxx would provide me with a savanna monitor (V. Exanthamaticus.)

but they failed while I went to you and in the corner was a tank of Savannas with

one brightly colored, inquisitive monitor researching the tank I loved it at first sight

so I picked out of the group and when I actually purchased it and looked at it, IT WAS BEAUTIFUL

with blue cheeks a light mouth red rings on the back, several red lines on the ventral surface, bright eyes,

And a calm disposition but still very active and of course after spending almost 6 hours

in a deli cup it was let out in a 10 gln. (I know...) tank and fed super worms it ate immediately

and drank heartily afterwords.. Thanks for reading this.

I got my chameleon today, and he is alot bigger then I had thought he would

be which is awesome. Like you said he has an awesome personality, as soon

as I open the bag he climbed right up my arm. He has already eaten quite a

few crickets and had lapped up a bit of water. This is my second chameleon

I had imagined and more.

About 9 months ago I decided to get a Bearded Dragon.

I live in Indiana and most pet shops were asking $75 to $100 for a

normal Beardie and new basically nothing about them.

After searching hours on the internet I came across your site.

Since that time I have ordered 4 Bearded Dragons @ great prices and they

are all doing great. Could not have asked for a better Lizard.

I have also Ordered Tons of supplies from you.

Now 9 Months later from the original Purchase I have got some friends at work, family,

and my Vet all interested in these Lizards and other herps. Infact I just placed an order

for my vet for a Beardie And he said ,"If all goes well he will become a member".

Reptile Depot has done an Excellent job!

I just received my red eyed tree frogs today. I had to wait for a few weeks for the male

to come in but it was definitely worth the wait.

The frogs that I received are HUGE especially the two females.

I don't think I have ever seen red-eye females as big as the one's I was sent.

I'm not even sure I've seen human females as big as the frogs I was sent.

Thank you Reptile Depot for all of your help.

I will be ordering another male from you this week sometime.

chameleon, much faster than my friend's Jackson chameleon.

All the critters arrived during one of my classes and were healthy

and very entertaining. The three-toed box turtles are beautiful and I

just might order more! The baby turtles joined our cooter hatchlings,

and the fire belly toads seemed to enjoy their new aquaterrarium.

received them and they are just so "neat" to look at. The female is so big

and fat I almost think she is gravid. They are doing just great and I am

The Red eye tree frog arrived in great shape, very healthy.

It took about a day for it to start exploring it's enclosure

(which it seems to be comfortable with).

I try to make their new homes as close to their original as possible.

It's also eating quite readily.

Calvin the veiled chameleon is healthy and seems

happy after his long journey to Mass.

There was some miscommunication and poor service

by the USPS and my school's campus mailroom but

after a weekend in the mailroom my cham is safe

in his new home.

I credit your establishment for his health.

If he had been shipped weak I'm sure he would not

have survived the weekend. I will tell all my Herp

My baby beardie arrived 4 days ago, and I couldn't be happier!

He is alert and bright-eyed, eats like a horse, and is very easy

to handle. The patterns on his back and belly are gorgeous and

I love watching him sleep standing up against the glass of his

enclosure. He loves to cling to my shirts every afternoon when I sit

in the sun to read. It's very cute. My treefrogs are also terrific.

The dumpys are fat and juicy, the white-lipped have beautiful color

and all handled shipping like champs.

My name is Steven and I had just gone to your reptile

show in San Francisco. I had already gotten a small

Veild Chameleon from you guys and she is doing great.

So then I went to the reptile show and was very

surprised at how many veilds you guys had and how no

one else had the quality of chams that you guys had.

So I got a little companion for the little girl and

got a little boy for her. I was also surprised and how

much your workers were very helpful to me,and I'm only

14. There doing great and eating very well and I just

wanted to say thanx. I will do many of my reptile

shopping at reptiledepot.(Now if only you could bring

the shipping rates down):).

Hey, guys!

Thanks again for staying open late last night so we could get our

chameleon set up. We stopped on the way home and bought the little guy

a plant. He acclimated very quickly and is eating well this morning (4

little crickets in about an hour). I am a big chameleon fan and am

thrilled that I finally have a set up that will be beneficial to them.

Huntington Beach, but you guys were great. It was well worth the trip.

THEY ARE VERY ACTIVE (WHICH IS ALWAYS AN EXCELLENT SIGN) AND HAVE FED TWICE TODAY.

WE'RE ENJOYING THEM TREMENDOUSLY.

THEY ARE MUCH BIGGER THAN I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE.

I DID WANT TO COMMENT ON THE PROFESSIONAL WAY THE CHAMELEONS WERE SHIPPED.

I SINCERELY FELT THAT THE ANIMAL'S COMFORT AND WELL-BEING WERE PUT ABOVE ECONOMY.

ONE OTHER THING -- THE CHAMELEONS WERE OBVIOUSLY WELL CARED FOR PRIOR TO SHIPMENT.

THEY BOTH HAD NICE FAT BELLIES WHEN THE ARRIVED.

AND THE WAY THEY HAVE BEEN FEEDING, THEIR BELLIES STAYED JUST AS FAT.

Thank you for the shipment of Mantellas. There in great shape,

nice coloration and very fat. This is my first time ordering amphibians

through the mail, I wasn't sure about ordering, but good thing I picked you guys.

You have way bettter specimens than my local pet shop. I'd rather pay that extra

money for shipping and get better animals. In the near future

I will definately be ordering from the REPTILE DEPOT.
